Designed specifically for livestock and poultry, UltraFlor™ provides a 4.25% florfenicol oral solution. As a synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic, florfenicol is used for the treatment of respiratory disease associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis and Streptococcus suis.* The unique formulation of UltraFlor allows veterinarians to have flexible dosing that has not been achievable with other florfenicol products, from multiple veterinarian’s experiences.

Achievable Concentrations:

  • 400mg/gallon Concentration
    • 1-gallon stock solution: Mix 2.5 pints of UltraFlor with 5.5 pints of water
    • 3.2-gallon stock solution: Mix 1 gallon of UltraFlor with 2.2 gallons of water
  • 200mg/gallon Concentration
    • 6.4-gallon stock solution: Mix 1 gallon of UltraFlor with 5.4 gallons of water

Common prescription duration: Medicate at a 1:128 for 2-5 days

Administration tools: Measuring cup included in order

Miscibility: Meloxicam 0.6% soluble

  • Mix up fresh UltraFlor every 24 hours
  • Warm water improves UltraFlor solubility
  • Thoroughly mix and let bubbles dissipate
  • Poor water quality may make it more difficult to mix UltraFlor

  • Stir pumps can be used with UltraFlor
  • Bring UltraFlor to room temperature if shipped at a cold temperature
